Spreadsheet vs haul planner

Both can list links. Only one keeps photo, size decision, QC, and agent handoff on the same card.

Spreadsheet wins when

Simple lists and one buyer habit

Planner wins when

Decisions need context

Credenza

What the planner is (and is not)

Credenza is an agent haul planner: stash finds, size, mark purchases, open Buy in your agent. It is not a marketplace, not a search engine for sellers, and not a checkout.

Money model: free planner; optional agent affiliate only when you open Buy on a participating agent.

The real difference

A row holds text. A decision needs a picture.

A sheet is excellent at what a sheet is for: numbers in columns, sorted and summed. Agent shopping asks three questions a column cannot answer.

Where a sheet actually breaks

The agent column

The common sheet layout stores the agent link, because that is the link you clicked. Then you switch agents, and every row is wrong.

Find and replace does not fix it. Some agents want the whole URL, and others want only the numeric item id: and the id is inside the original link the agent wrap replaced. The three link shapes explains why. Store the marketplace link and wrap it at Buy, and switching is one setting.

Shared sheets

A link to the sheet shows the whole sheet

Asking a group about two items means sharing every item, every price, and every note you wrote about the seller. Most people accept that or paste screenshots instead.

A read-only share link carries the items you pick and the fields you pick, so prices can stay off. Delete it when the thread ends.

Migration

Leave the sheet without losing history

Paste links into Credenza as you decide. Keep the old sheet as archive if you want. You do not need a full import day-one: start with the active haul.

A haul post pastes in one go and comes out as one card an item. See turning a Reddit haul into a list.

Leaving again

The export goes back to a sheet

A planner you cannot leave is a worse deal than a sheet. Two ways out exist.

Everything is stored on your device first, so the data is yours whether or not you keep using the app.

Credenza organizes links you already found. Purchases still happen with your shopping agent.
