How Credenza works

Stash the find

Paste a Weidian, Taobao, or Yupoo link, or a line with photos + buy URLs. Credenza keeps them on one card so you are not juggling tabs and a spreadsheet.

Paste more than one link at once and Credenza sorts them by host. A Yupoo address becomes the photo album. A Weidian, Taobao, Tmall, or 1688 address becomes the buy link. Anything else is kept as an extra link on the same card. That is why a Reddit comment full of raw URLs can become one card instead of five.

Links broken to dodge a subreddit automod still work. Credenza repairs https:/ /item.weidian.com and host-then-path splits before it reads the address, so you can copy the comment as it was written.

See what you saved

Cover image, title, price, and seller in a quiet card. Flip for notes, status, and more photos. The grid and the open card use the same mental model.

Credenza brings in six photos from an album, not the whole album. Six covers the front, the back, the tag, and a detail shot, which is enough to judge a piece on a phone. The album link stays on the card and reports the real count, so a 37-photo album never reads as a six-photo one. Open the album at the seller for the rest.

Photos you add by hand, a camera shot, a saved image, a QC photo, are separate. A card holds up to 20 of those.

Size with confidence

Save a body profile once, in inches or centimeters. Chest, waist, hip, shoulder, and sleeve are all read. The profile stays on the device.

Paste or attach a seller chart and Credenza reads the rows. It handles the Chinese labels sellers actually use: 胸围, 腰围, 臀围, 肩宽, 袖长, and the half-chest columns where the number is pit to pit rather than the full circumference.

Then it picks a size, with the ease the garment needs:

• Tops: matched on chest, with about 12 cm of ease.
• Outerwear: matched on chest, with about 16 cm, because a jacket goes over a layer.
• Pants and shorts: matched on waist, with about 2 cm.
• Hip-only sheets: matched on hip. Many Yupoo pants charts list 臀围 and nothing else, and those still return a size.

You get the size, the runner-up size, and the reason. If the chart lists a measure your profile does not have, Credenza says which one is missing rather than guessing. Read the size chart guide.

Mark what you bought

Each card starts in Want. Mark it Bought after you pay. The status stays on the item, so the shelf separates candidates from purchases.

• Want: saved, not paid for. Most of the shelf sits here.
• Bought: paid. Keep later QC photos on this card for reference.

Open Buy in your agent

Items store the canonical marketplace URL. At Buy time, Credenza opens Superbuy, Sugargoo, Kakobuy, or your preferred agent. Purchases happen there, not inside Credenza.

Ten agents are built in today: Superbuy, Sugargoo, Kakobuy, Fansbuy, Mulebuy, Joyagoo, CNFans, Hoobuy, Oopbuy, and AllChinaBuy. You can also pick no agent and open the marketplace directly.

Because the card holds the marketplace URL and not an agent URL, switching agents does not break your shelf. Change the preference and every Buy button points somewhere new. Paste an agent link and Credenza unwraps it back to the marketplace first, so the card stays portable. Compare the agents.

Group the shelf into hauls

A haul is a parcel, not a folder. Each one carries a name, a budget, and the parcel weight and dimensions you plan to ship. Items priced in CNY convert to USD per item, so a mixed-currency haul still adds up to one number you can compare against the budget.

The parcel fields are the shipping half of that number. Enter the weight, the box size in centimetres, and the packaging, and the board reads the chargeable weight: the larger of the two figures a carrier bills. Planning the parcel walks through it.

The free plan runs 2 hauls at once. Pro runs 100. The count is of open hauls, so archiving a finished one frees the slot straight away and keeps the record. Closing a haul says where a haul ends and what archiving does and does not touch.

Reads have allowances

Size-chart reads and link reads call a paid model, so they carry allowances: 8 of each on Free, and the allowance never resets; 50 chart reads and 250 link reads monthly on Pro. Everything else on the free plan is uncapped, including the number of cards and the number of times you open Buy. See the full limits, or read what a link read is for what one read buys you. What spends a chart read does the same for a chart read: one call per card whatever the photo count, free text parsing first, and one saved result that stays on its item.

Send a haul to somebody without sending your shelf

Open a haul and press Share. Credenza writes a read-only page at a random 12-character address and copies the link. You choose what goes on it: prices, notes, quality, sellers, parcel. A field you switch off is absent from the page, not hidden by styling: so a reader cannot read it out of the source.

The link carries a preview card in Discord and Reddit, which is where these lists get posted. The free plan keeps 3 links at a time. Pro keeps 100 and adds unlisted links, an expiry date, and a page with no Credenza footer. Delete a link from Profile → Shared links and the page answers 404 straight away.

Keep the shelf when the phone does not survive

The shelf lives on your device, which is why Credenza needs no account to work. The cost of that is a phone in a river. So an account gets you one thing free on every plan: sign in on a new device and your shelf comes back. Restoring is never a paid feature.

Two devices staying in step while you use them is the paid half. On Pro, every edit keeps going up, so a card added on the phone is on the laptop by the time you open it. Either way, the JSON backup is free and yours: export it whenever you want a copy that depends on nobody.

Take the haul out as a spreadsheet

Export the shelf as a CSV with 15 columns: title, haul, status, seller, size, recommended size, price, currency, price in USD, weight in grams, buy link, photos link, source link, notes, and the date added.
